Cleveland Sports Insiders: The Podcast 52: Bynum, Irving, Rose, Thompson & Boozer

CSIThe Cleveland Cavaliers are facing off against the Chicago Bulls for the first time during the 2013-2014 season, and believe it or not, Kyrie Irving and Derrick Rose will be facing off for the first time in their careers.

Thanks to injuries to both over the years, the two often compared point guards will get to test each other’s wares for the first time.

It’s not the only interesting match-up, as Tristan Thompson goes up against the Cavs old nemesis, Carlos Boozer. Their game mirrors each other in many ways, so it should be a nice test for Thompson, who is breaking out a bit this season.

Andrew Bynum is starting tonight, and you have to wonder…are the Cavs and Bynum being coy about how healthy their center really is?

When he isn't writing or talking Cleveland sports for EHC, he moonlights as a husband, father, coach, teacher, Twitter screamer, golfer, runner, and lover of spaghetti carbonara. He also commutes from Raleigh to the North Coast, because it builds character
